job id-20627 Review, maintain, and enhance existing test plans for the integrated TMPS and its components based on functional requirements. This includes acceptance test plans and regression test plans. Develop a comprehensive plan for the testing to be completed for each toolset release. This would include updating existing test plans based on project manager and developer input, and generating documentation for each toolset release to detail the required testing. Evaluate existing collections of test content used for toolset testing and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct testing of the toolset and end products in various network environments, including the internal network and prototypic shipboard networks. Perform validation testing of instructions that are provided to the fleet or end users. Perform and/or delegate testing on behalf of PTD developers and project managers throughout a given toolset release. Communicate testing guidance to end users and monitor their compliance with the technical and schedule expectations. Coordinate posting, compilation, review, and disposition of test results. Develop a working knowledge of program standards and functional expectations for the end products (browser-based and hard copy technical manuals) supported by the technology developed by the unit. Participate in planning and execution of enhancements and development of advanced functionality for the toolset and end products. Collaborate with the design team and stakeholders to prioritize change requests, establish scope and schedule expectations, and optimize design and integration of TMPS components. Required Skills Associate: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Intermediate: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience based on consistent high-achievement performance trend; or Masters of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to participate in and/or manage multiple projects at once. Strong teaming, organization, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution experience and skills.
