Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain Management with a strong Supply Chain business processes, and systems background. This is a full time position in Global Application Services organization. The person will be a key facilitator between Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations / Service Logistics business groups and IT to turn business ideas into high quality scalable systems solutions. This individual will interact with business users on business requirements to build new business case studies, design solutions and work with the implementation teams to build, test, deploy and support solutions. The ideal candidate will have consistently demonstrated ability to bring their expertise to bear while welcoming and incorporating inputs from stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage with the business leaders and end users at different levels to understand business needs and help business to define solution roadmap.

  • Reviews and validates functional designs for business requirements.

  • Validates solution’s test coverage/scope.

  • Demonstrates persuasive communication with cross-functional partners.

  • Negotiates with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Identifies inefficiencies, proposes and champion improvements.

  • Drive system/process discussions with business and IT stakeholders

  • Implement best practices/processes/tools.

  • Effectively manage multiple assignments.

  • As a project delivery lead, ensure quality, scalability and reliability of applications / software services.

  • Lead cross-functional business and system process improvement teams.

  • Lead or participate in formal IT process improvement efforts.

  • Leads efforts in evaluation and selection of third party software, vendors and/or service providers.

  • Evaluate cost and financial implications.

  • Manages one or multiple job functions

  • Align, collaborate with organizational objectives & management direction.

Job Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of strong experience in functional design and configuration on Oracle Supply Chain Modules : Demantra, Rapid Planning / Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Item & BOM MDM, Order Management, Shipping Execution, iProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, WIP, and Cost Accounting

  • In depth knowledge of upstream application footprints in Quote to Cash & Procure to Pay tracks and all integration points with Oracle VCP application modules.

  • Experience in outsourced manufacturing and service logistics environments.

  • Experience in B2B integration to automate Supply Chain processes.

  • Deep understanding of multi-org, multi-country, multi-currency specific setups and dependencies in Oracle R12 eBiz system.

  • Strong experience in preparing BRD (Biz Requirement), MD50 (Functional Specification), BR100 (Configuration), and Training Materials.

  • Experience in Oracle Application Implementation Methodology(AIM).

  • Ability to evaluate architecture impact on solution outcomes – Custom and Standard architecture

  • Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and messages.

  • Should have played lead roles in 3+ ERP implementations.

  • Excellent relationship management skill.

  • Knowledge of general application architecture, databases and basic technical skills.

  • Understanding of Supply Chain BI Analytics / APCC.

  • Experience in High Tech / Networking business domain.

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or Industrial Management and/or related experiences.

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Implementation experience of Agile Product Lifecycle Management is a big plus.

  • Knowledge of Prophet by Baxter Planning Systems is a big plus.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Depot Repair modules is a plus.

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification or similar certification.

  • APICS CPIM Certification.

  • APICS CSCP Certification.

  • Experience in Agile software development methods and practices.
