Headquartered in San Diego, California and with offices in Gig Harbor, WA KES provides services globally in systems engineering and technical assistance, requirements analysis, software design and development, systems integration and testing, independent verification and validation, and operational and logistic support.Position Summary:The Computer Systems Analyst (Specialized) will operate, maintain and upgrade, all test beds and PITCO facilities. Perform system installation validation testing, repairs, modifications and checkout prior to integration into the fleet to ensure quality and operational availability that meets system readiness objectives.Responsibilities:Repair, test, and report system/equipment using ATRT-Testing methodology at customer location. Diagnose systems failure and isolating the source of problems between hardware components and software applications. Load and configure network servers, routers, switches in storage area network in accordance with configurations tool kits while utilizing system checklist and/or load plans.Identify and procure testing material and equipment/system.Develop easily readable and maintainable documentation as warranted.Examine/Comply with schedules for equipment/system software loading, installation, material delivery, and ship/shore availability.Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal or external customers, in written and oral format.Put together a Management Database to log and track the status of system installations at current state.Create a website through a content managing application (Plone) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Experience:Experience in building automation tools/programs for Navy computer systems is required, including Programming Languages such as C, C#, Verilog, HTML, CSS, and Java Script. Experience with hardware troubleshooting, repair, and testingFamiliar with a variety of the C4I installation fieldand#39;s concepts, practices, and procedures. Qualifications and Education Requirements:Prefer a Bachelorand#39;s Degree in Computer Science and a year or more experience working in a military or DoD PITCO facility. Travel up to 30% may be required.This position requires an existing U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level. U.S. Citizenship is required.CompTIA Security+ certification requiredPreferred SkillsApplications: ATRT -Testing, Matlab, PLONE, Xilinx, Visual Studio, Microsoft Office.Lab Experience: Oscilloscope, Soldering Iron, Multimeter, Familiar with Circuit Design.
