Leads Recording Studio efforts supporting the Medium Event / Leader Training Team.
Primary duty in the JBLM Recording Studio to support Combat Leader interviews and other media products as required, but will routinely support other efforts as required including Network and simulation work.
Supports training networks and simulation systems, including the installation and maintenance of equipment.
Supports the team effort to coordinate/develop/implement the establishment of the network architecture in conjunction with the exercise design in support of operations anywhere on the continuum of conflict from civil-support to high-intensity conflict.
Should have basic understanding of Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS), dataflow and interfaces in order to leverage the Army’s C2 capabilities.
Must be willing and able to routinely cross-train in order to gain additional skillsets to enhance professional development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a U.S. Citizen to support this government contract, and possess and maintain a current DoD SECRET security clearance
Experience working in a recording studio
Possess experience with computer and/or simulation-based training
Possess the ability to setup and tear down computer workstations prior to and after all training events
Strong (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
Must have knowledge of networks, communications and file transfer protocols
Must be capable of creating and installing LAN cables, configuring Ethernet switches and routers, and physical moving & arranging of equipment
Must be able to monitor network performance to ensure maximum optimization and troubleshoot network discrepancies in order to resolve problems
In accordance with DoD 8570.01; Candidate must meet the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) requirements by having one of the following certifications: Network+CE, Security+ CE
