Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Jacksonville, Florida (FL).Essential Functions:

  • Senior IT Systems Analysts collect and analyze information to formulate the scope and objectives of technology solutions

  • Conducts feasibility studies to design possible technology solutions

  • Writes system and programming specifications so that when the system is implemented it will meet user needs

  • Provides input into cost estimations and project plans

  • Prepares and maintains technical documentation including flow charts, models, and procedures, user guides, scorecards and reporting to assist with the ongoing operation and maintenance of technology solutions

  • Assigned to complex projects, systems or initiatives

  • Senior IT Systems Analysts lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other IT Systems Analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field, Business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience

  • 6 or more years work experience in an application development and/or systems analysis role or equivalent combination of transferrable experience and education

  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable Operations environment with exposure to computerized systems in a complex environment

  • 1-years of SDLC project & business modeling experience

  • Proficient in mapping end-to-end business processes surrounding financial data

  • Knowledge of the insurance/managed care industry practices beneficial

  • Must have ability to influence, manage, collaborate and build relationships with individuals across the organization and achieve results through those who are not direct reports

  • Thorough knowledge of Information Technology fields and computer systems

  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of integration points of assigned business/systems and processes

  • Proficient in requirements gathering methodologies and the SDLC

  • Understanding of a variety of architecture standards and ability to apply them in their design work

  • Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities

  • Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance

  • Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
