A Missile Defense Agency Program Office customer is seeking an Information Assurance analyst to oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to assure that government customer's systems meet the applicable information assurance and cybersecurity requirements. The candidate will be responsible to ensure they provide the appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and assurance from internal and external perspectives for systems and products operating in an environment across all phases of the system's lifecycle process.The daily duties require an in-depth knowledge of the NIST RMF and the ability to independently work with little oversight the following areas: track and maintain ATO and pre-ATO decisions within the eMass application, run and collect audit reporting for the network (act as Auditor) DoD 8570 compliance (certifications), and be able to support government Information System Security Manager (ISSM). The duties are commensurate with that of an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the component DoD IS or PIT system and assist the ISSM in meeting their duties and responsibilities.M.Sin engineering or computer science isrequired with 10 years of experience or 12 years of directly related experience. Must meet DOD 8570 requirements as an Information Assurance Technical, Level III (IAT-III). The candidate should be familiar with the security assessment and authorization process (Risk Management Framework). The candidate should have demonstrated experience developing, editing, and auditing cybersecurity policies, plans, and procedures for government systems and programs. The candidate should have good communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment supporting a diverse customer base comprised of engineers, analysts, developers, and specialists. The candidate should be self-reliant and able to work with little oversight. The candidate should have deep knowledge and experience working with the NIST security controls and regulations including Army eMASS. Some travel may be required.
