ManTech Staff Business Systems Analyst/Tester in Herndon, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the Herndon, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities

· Analyze, research and fully document issues and requirements derived from problem reports and/or change requests

· Conduct cause and effect analysis to ensure that all causes and impacts of the problem are identified

· Accurately document customer and business needs so as to ensure effective software changes

· Develop Momentum subject matter expertise in system use, general system design, and customers needs

· Translate business needs into SMART system requirements

· Develop thorough Test Plans and execute test scripts and procedures accurately

· Troubleshoot problems and analyze system logs and results

· Accurately prepare analysis and test schedule estimates

· Document test results thoroughly and update software development tools in an accurate and timely manner

· Provide program documentation input for design and solution elements.

Required Qualifications

· Experience supporting Momentum Financial Management software

· Full understanding of the Software\System Development Life Cycle

· Experience analyzing and documenting IT system requirements, conducting functional analysis, writing and executing tests.

· Ability to write and execute SQL queries.

· Take initiative to learn new tools, subjects and technologies in order to maximize value to the team and customer

· Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software development lifecycle.

· Understand the impact of Momentum system settings and know how to configure a system to mimic the operational environment

· Function as a self-starter; complete assignments with minimal oversight, seek help when needed, and do your part to complete the project as efficiently as possible

· Have strong oral and written communications skills

· Follow managers priorities and guidance and submit updates to software development support tools fully and on time

Desired Qualifications

· Experience supporting Momentum Financial Management software

· Fundamental understanding of federal financials

· Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects tool suite

· Knowledge of Momentum Financials

· Familiarity with report design tools

Candidates must have a current U.S. Secret clearance and a Special Background Investigation no more than 5 years old. Clearances must be transferrable, and applicants must pass government approval to work on the project.
