SYSTEMS ANALYST SENIOR (USASAC-18-0441-W)

Bowhead seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to perform abstract or concept studies or analysis, requirements definition, preliminary planning evaluation of alternative technical approaches and associated costs for the development or enhancement of high level general

performance specifications of a system, project, mission or activity.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

-Analysis, cost/cost-performance trade-off analysis, feasibility analysis, regulatory compliance support, technology conceptual designs, training and outsourcing.

-Formulates and defines system scope and objectives.

-Prepares detailed specifications for programs Work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications, systems engineering and analysis, and programming activities.

-Provides guidance and training to less experienced engineers analysts and programmers

-Performs analysis and systems design for a variety of applications.

-Analyzes procedures and systems to refine their formulation and converts them to programmable formats.

-Gathers information from users for analysis of problem areas.

-Participates in or may plan and conduct preliminary studies of potential data processing applications and prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future needs.

-Develops detailed system specifications for conversion to programming language by staff programmers.

-Recommends conversion and system implementation plans including user training and orientation.

Requirements

Ten (10) Years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in performing systems analysis, systems integration, and systems testing in an engineering, business, mathematical or scientific setting using a variety of engineering and analysis disciplines.

Has experience with current technologies, and where required, emerging technologies.

Bachelors Degree in such disciplines as Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Resource Management/Information

Systems, Operations Research, Physical Sciences, Statistics, Math, Chemistry, Business, Accounting, Economics, or other related scientific, technical or logistics discipline, or a technical training certificate from an accredited training institution with

a curriculum or major field of study that provides substantial knowledge closely related to the task.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must have an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
