JOB TITLE: Revenue Management Systems Analyst Associate

LOCATION: Buckhorn Office Building




The position maintains a full understanding of commonly-used workflows, concepts, practices, and procedures within a dynamic healthcare field. They are responsible for assisting with project completion including analysis, training, testing, problem resolution documentation and implementation within an application. Provides input into project plans.

Required to have an in-depth knowledge of the systems used by Revenue Management staff including, but not limited to Optum, RelayHealth and IDX. The Automated Billing/Quality Assurance team drives changes within these systems to support Revenue Management requirements.

This Analyst will perform duties to support the goals and objectives of the Geisinger Health System (GHS) in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

The Revenue Management System Support Analyst reports to the Director, Revenue Management (or designated Senior/Lead).


Demonstrates a strong general understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Siemens, IDX.

Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrates abilities in analytical thinking for problem solving.

Demonstrates ability to effectively interact in a team environment and with high-level management.


Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology Mathematics, or other data relevant field required. Minimum of three years of experience in financial information systems or related information system design, implementation or support required.

Minimum six years of related professional work experience in financial information systems or related information system design, implementation or support required may substitute for the degree requirement above.

Experience in a progressive healthcare or Financial environment preferred.


Work is typically performed in an office environment.
