Job Description Summary Planning Systems Analyst Supply Chain Analytics & Standards Position Purpose: Provide product master data and analytics support for Halyard Health. The position has responsibility for all product and planning master data contained within the SAP ECC and APO systems. As well, the position will provide reporting and analytics support for the Product Supply team, and act as a central point for documentation, training and support for all product master data related functions. Customers and Customer Expectations: Customers: Planning (End-to-End and Supply Chain Specialist), Project Leaders, Customer Care, Pricing, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, Distribution, Marketing, and SCA, and all other users of Halyard Health business systems Customer Expectations: 1. Provide timely and accurate master data creation and maintenance per requestor submissions 2. Identify opportunities for improved accuracy and effectiveness of master data interactions 3. Support decision making thru timely and accurate reporting. 4. Represent the Supply Chain Analytics and Standards (SCAS) team in business wide product master data initiatives. Scope: The incumbent reports to the Product Master Data Team Leader within Supply Chain Analytics and Standards. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Product Supply team in all areas of product master data creation and maintenance which impact the SAP and APO systems, as well as desktop planning tools. Reporting and analytics support include those areas which directly impact the performance of the key objectives of Product supply in terms of working capital management and customer service. The incumbent will interact with a wide variety of contacts both inside and outside the business, including all business functions, both at staff and at operational locations. He or she will be called upon as a subject matter expert in master data, and must be capable of providing training and support to all users in a way that is grounded in the business objectives. Qualifications/Education/Experience Required: A Bachelors degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent working experience in master data of at least 2 years. Must be a strong, technically capable user of spreadsheet and database applications, and possess a systems aptitude with the ability to understand detailed system operations. SAP product master data experience is preferred. The incumbent must also be a self-starter and have ability to manage multiple priorities all at once. Principal Accountabilities: Create, validate, and maintain master data for SAP ECC and APO, including recipes, product master, material master, and planning specific data. Ensure that all elements of master data meet defined standards and lead to effective SAP and APO functionality. Support the reporting needs of Product Supply by providing data gathering and analytics support. Ensure that reporting is accurate, timely, and provides user flexibility and visibility. Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support for functional areas which rely upon master data for proper functioning of the SAP system - i.e. customer service, product costing, planning, regulatory, etc. Provide an overall point of training, documentation, support, and coordination for plant and staff roles which are involved with master data - i.e. plant RMT associates, planners, etc. Identify and pursue opportunities to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of master data, reporting, and analytics. Support business integration activities through collection, analysis, and preparation of master data in order to support a timely startup of accurate master data for the new business. Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates, and other team members in a manner that is timely, complete, concise and responsive.
